Our goal with the renewal was to create a wine restaurant in the old time farmer area that popularizes wines from Sopron.

Smaller and bigger companies could consume in different rooms discrete in familiar environment the wines with expert opinion and the appropriate dishes. So they could gain an everlasting experience. During the planning we tried to form the interior of the baroque building according to our plans, and keep everything that is valuable and beautiful.

The renewal of the monumental building was also a commitment, but we managed to make over the former house and at the same time save the architectural values – beautiful arches, the contemporary timbered ceiling, and the wagon-roofed cellars brought back to their original beauty – as well.

We started the renewal in 2003 and after two years and two month – in Mai 2005 – we opened our restaurant, grill garden and conference room. The opening of the 8 room pension is planned by the end of 2006. We would like to illustrate the original state of the building and the renewal process with some pictures.
